The Helios NSR500F is a compact, high-efficiency 500W battery charger and precision DC power supply available in 12Vdc, 24Vdc, or 48Vdc models. Designed for fixed industrial and infrastructure applications, it provides stable, regulated DC output while delivering advanced charging capabilities. Typical uses include telecommunications, laboratories, industrial process control, SCADA networks, and rail signalling systems.
As part of the NSR Series, the NSR500F combines rugged design with precision regulation and intelligent battery management. Features include programmable charging algorithms, low-voltage disconnect (LVD), electronic circuit breaker (ECB) protection, and deep discharge protection—ensuring battery longevity and reliable system performance.
The NSR500F supports a wide range of battery chemistries, including sealed lead-acid (SLA), AGM, Gel, and Lithium-ion. Its 90–264Vac input range, high conversion efficiency (up to 90%), and IP20-rated chassis make it well suited to critical environments where reliability is essential.
All models are equipped with RS-485 MODBUS RTU for monitoring and control, while optional Ethernet/SNMP adds web-based configuration, data logging, and remote diagnostics. Local LED indicators and programmable alarm relays provide additional status and fault information, ensuring integration with SCADA, PLC, and remote telemetry systems.
