Description
CBI2801224A – 12V/24V 15A/10A 180W/240W DIN Rail DC-UPS with MODBUS RTU
The CBI2801224A is a versatile DC-UPS designed for applications requiring flexibility between 12V and 24V systems. Selectable via jumper settings, it delivers up to 180W at 12V (15A) or 240W at 24V (10A), integrating power supply, battery charger, and backup module in one compact DIN rail-mounted unit. With load priority operation, available current is directed to the load first, with the battery able to supplement during demand peaks.
Featuring advanced Battery Care technology, the unit provides IUoU four-stage charging (Recovery, Bulk, Absorption, Boost, and Float), along with constant voltage and constant current modes. Automatic diagnostics continually monitor battery condition, including sulfated cells, disconnection, reverse polarity, or deep discharge, with alarms provided via LEDs and free-contact relay outputs.
The CBI2801224A supports a wide range of chemistries, including Open Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid, Gel, Lead Crystal, Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, and Li-Ion batteries. AUX 1 connects to the optional RJTEMP sensor for temperature-compensated charging, while AUX 2 and AUX 3 support RS-485 MODBUS RTU communication and the DPY351 Controller (HMI with Ethernet). A dedicated connection is also provided for the RTCONN Start from Battery cable. With compact dimensions, robust environmental ratings, and international safety approvals, the CBI2801224A is a highly adaptable solution for automation, SCADA, and energy storage systems.
