The ADC5083R is a ruggedised 12Vdc DIN rail battery charger, engineered for demanding industrial environments. With a 13.7Vdc float voltage and a continuous output current of 10A (137W), it ensures reliable charging of 12Vdc sealed lead-acid and VRLA batteries. Its conformal-coated electronics enhance durability in harsh conditions including high humidity, dust, and vibration.
This charger operates from a switchable 230/115Vac input and provides an adjustable output range from 9–15Vdc, making it adaptable to varied system requirements. Integrated protections include a series output diode, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and a module fail alarm relay — critical features for maintaining system uptime.
Additional functionality includes temperature compensated charging, which optimises battery health and longevity by adjusting charge voltage according to ambient temperature—essential in variable or extreme environments.
