ADC5383 – 12Vdc 18A DIN Rail Battery Charger (274W)
The ADC5383 is a high-performance DIN rail-mounted 12Vdc battery charger, delivering a 13.7Vdc float voltage at up to 18A continuous current, with peak capability up to 20A (274W). Designed for demanding industrial applications, it supports a wide output adjustment range from 9–15Vdc and operates from a switchable 230/115Vac input.
Ideal for charging sealed lead-acid (SLA) and VRLA batteries, the ADC5383 features integrated protections including a series output diode, output over-voltage protection (OVP), and a module fail alarm relay. It is convection cooled for silent and maintenance-free operation, and is housed in a robust enclosure suitable for DIN rail mounting.
Additional functionality includes temperature compensated charging, which optimises battery health and longevity by adjusting charge voltage according to ambient temperature—essential in variable or extreme environments.
