CBI2410A – 24V 10A 240W DIN Rail DC-UPS with Battery Care
The CBI2410A is a robust 24V 10A DC-UPS designed for industrial and automation applications requiring reliable backup power. Delivering up to 240W, it integrates power supply, battery charger, and backup module in a single compact DIN rail-mounted device. Thanks to its intelligent design, available power is automatically allocated between the load and the battery, with priority always given to the load. This means the battery charging current can be redirected to support the load during demand peaks, eliminating the need to oversize the power supply.
With Battery Care technology, the CBI2410A provides IUoU multi-stage charging along with constant voltage and constant current modes. It includes Boost and Float stages (configurable to single-level charging), and advanced algorithms for rapid charging, long-term battery life optimisation, flat battery recovery, and real-time diagnostics. Continuous monitoring ensures faults such as sulfated batteries, short circuits, or reverse polarity are quickly identified with diagnostic LEDs and relay alarm outputs.
The unit supports Open Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid, Gel, Li-Ion, and Ni-Cd batteries. It delivers 10A continuous current at 24V, up to 20A with battery assist, and 30A peak output. The rugged IP20 housing with DIN rail mounting makes it well-suited to demanding environments. Auxiliary connections via AUX 1 support the optional RJTEMP temperature sensor or DPY353 display, while a dedicated connection is provided for the RTCONN Start from Battery cable. With proven safety and EMC approvals, the CBI2410A is a reliable solution for automation, safety, and SCADA applications.
