Description
CBI245A – 24V 5A 120W DIN Rail DC-UPS with Battery Care
The CBI245A is a compact 24V 5A DC-UPS delivering 120W of reliable backup power for automation, control, and safety systems. Combining power supply, battery charger, and backup module in a single DIN rail-mounted device, it ensures stable load continuity with load priority operation. This means available current is directed to the load first, with the battery supplementing as needed to avoid oversizing the power supply.
Equipped with Battery Care technology, the CBI245A provides IUoU multi-stage charging alongside constant voltage and current modes. Automatic Boost and Float stages optimise charging, extend battery life, and recover deeply discharged batteries. Continuous auto-diagnostics monitor sulfated batteries, short circuits, accidental reverse polarity, and disconnections, with visual indications via LEDs and relay alarms for quick fault identification.
The unit is compatible with Open Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid, Gel, Li-Ion, and Ni-Cd batteries. Protections include short-circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating, and low-voltage disconnection (LVD). AUX 1 supports the optional RJTEMP sensor or DPY353 display, while a dedicated connection is available for the RTCONN Start from Battery cable. With compact IP20 housing, high efficiency, and robust safety certifications, the CBI245A is a dependable DC-UPS solution for industrial, SCADA, and safety-critical installations.
