CBI126A – 12V 6A 72W DIN Rail DC-UPS with Battery Care
The CBI126A is a compact 12V 6A DC-UPS that integrates power supply, battery charger, and backup module in one cost-effective DIN rail unit. Delivering up to 72W, it ensures continuous power for small to mid-size loads, with automatic load-priority operation that directs available current to the load first, while charging the battery as a secondary function. This design avoids oversizing power supplies, as battery current can supplement the load when required.
With Battery Care technology, the CBI126A supports IUoU 4-stage charging along with constant voltage and constant current modes. Automatic Boost, Float, and Recovery stages optimise charge cycles, extend battery life, and recover deeply discharged batteries. Real-time auto-diagnostics detect issues such as sulfated or shorted batteries, accidental reverse polarity, and disconnection, with clear LED indications and dry contact relay outputs.
The unit is compatible with Open Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid, Gel, Li-Ion, and Ni-Cd batteries. It provides up to 6A continuous load, 12A with battery assist, and 18A peak current. Safety and reliability are ensured with protections against short circuit, overload, overvoltage, overheating, and total battery discharge (LVD).
The CBI126A features auxiliary connections via AUX 1 for the optional RJTEMP temperature sensor or the DPY353 display. An RTCONN cable provides a dedicated connection for Start from Battery functionality. With high efficiency (≥90%), compact IP20 housing, and extensive certifications, the CBI126A is ideal for industrial automation, fire and safety, and SCADA applications.
