Description
CBI2420A – 24V 25A 600W DIN Rail DC-UPS with MODBUS RTU
The CBI2420A is a high-capacity 24V 25A DC-UPS delivering up to 600W of reliable power for industrial and automation applications. It combines power supply, battery charger, and backup module in a single DIN rail-mounted unit, ensuring seamless continuity of critical loads. Thanks to load priority operation, available current is directed to the load first, with the battery charging current used as supplementary power during demand peaks. This avoids oversizing the power supply while maintaining stable output.
Equipped with Battery Care technology, the CBI2420A supports IUoU multi-stage charging along with constant voltage and constant current operation. Recovery, Bulk, Absorption, Boost, and Float stages maximise battery performance, extend service life, and allow recovery of deeply discharged batteries. Advanced diagnostics automatically identify sulfated or faulty batteries, with alarms via LEDs and potential-free relay contacts for integration into supervisory systems.
The CBI2420A supports Open Lead Acid, Sealed Lead Acid, Gel, Li-Ion, and Ni-Cd batteries. It features AUX 1 for the optional RJTEMP temperature sensor and AUX 2 for the DPY351 Controller (HMI with Ethernet) to enable MODBUS RTU integration with SCADA systems. A dedicated connector is also provided for the RTCONN Start from Battery cable. With high efficiency, compact IP20 housing, and international approvals, the CBI2420A is a robust solution for automation, fire and safety, and energy management applications.
